Why we farm.
Udemba Farms began with a simple conviction: good food should come from farms run properly. Not rushed. Not cut short. Not left to chance.
We started with a single pond in Oshiri. We learned by doing, made our mistakes early, and built each part of the farm only once the last part was working.
Today, the farm spans 2.59 hectares beside the Ebonyi River. We raise two varieties of catfish across eight earthen ponds and grow plantain on the same land — one farm where every part supports the next.
We are not trying to be the biggest farm. We are building to be the most dependable one.

Our farm sits on 2.59 hectares (6.4 acres) of farmland in Oshiri, Ohaozara, a short walk from the Ebonyi River.
The river feeds our earthen ponds with natural, fresh water. The soil holds our plantain. The land is where everything we produce begins.

Natural water, natural ponds
Our catfish are raised in natural earthen ponds on water drawn from the Ebonyi River. No lime, no chemicals, no antibiotics and no treatments in our ponds, ever. That is why our fish taste closer to wild-caught than tank-raised.
Harvested to order
We harvest when you order, not before. No frozen stock. No fish sitting in storage. What reaches you left the pond that day.
Counted, not estimated
Every batch of juveniles is counted independently before stocking. Feed is sourced directly and logged on arrival. We know what goes into every pond.
Nothing wasted
Crop waste feeds the fish. Pond water irrigates the crops. The farm works as one system, not separate parts.
Continuous supply
Our ponds are stocked in staggered cycles, so harvests come regularly, not once a season. Buyers can plan around us.
